Astrid Sundberg is chief HR officer at Shortcut AS, the largest digital mobile app company in the Nordics spread across Oslo, Bergen, Bucharest and Copenhagen. Shortcut is best known for making cutting-edge digital products used by millions every day, with a customer base incorporating DNB, REMA 1000, Securitas, Ruter and Telenor.

Given her background working at innovative, hyper-growth companies, Astrid is a pioneer of the employee experience with a particular passion for organisational culture, diversity and inclusion, and employee wellbeing. Beginning her career at a recruitment start-up company which grew exponentially from 18 to 800 employees, she has 25 years’ experience in the field of HR and leadership, with a specialism in STEM sector recruitment. Her biggest strength is being an integrator who creates and grows workplace communities to cultivate a sense of belonging and purpose. Astrid is a positive advocate of workplace diversity for understanding, accepting, and valuing differences between people, as well as an ally for gender equality in the workplace.

A Scandi-Brit and behavioural science nerd, she's been based in Oslo for the past nine years. She´s a Google certified #IamRemarkable facilitator - a workshop empowering women and underrepresented groups within the workplace and beyond; as well as a speaker on a range of topics covering gender equality, employee mental health and wellness, company culture and diversity, equity and inclusion.
